To optimize the merit of the slim mount, the dovetail system should also be cogitated in planning. The traditional approach of bridging two OTA bands with a single dovetail will ruin the compactness of the central mount, and the distance between two OTAs will become too long.Splitting the dovetail, and each short dovetail set on the band was the answer I used in the last model. But, it was a little awkward or dangerous to set the OTAs on the Central Mount in darkness.This time, I found a wise solution. I found it far better to set the dovetails vertical to the traditional directions. 　前後の鏡筒バンドにアリガタで橋を渡す、伝統的なアリガタの使い方では、中軸式架台の主旨が活かせず、鏡筒間隔が非現実的に広がってしまうことはご想像いただけると思います。　前回のモデルで、 アリガタは、前後のバンドそれぞれにごく短い物をセットしたのは、そのためでした。 　しかし、暗がりで鏡筒をセットするのには、ある程度のコツが求められ、危険性も否めませんでした。 　今回は、アリガタを各バンド個別にセットする点は同じですが、アリガタの軸の方向を従来とは垂直な 向きに変更しました。　これにより、鏡筒が着脱時に転落する危険性がほぼなくなりました。 クランプをしなくても挿入時から鏡筒が安定しているため、クランプ機構をアリガタ（アリミゾ）ごとに装備 する必要がなくなり、非常にシンプルなクランプ機構が実現することになります。　このことは、限られた 鏡筒間スペースを考えると、非常に大きなメリットです。　また、アリガタを縦向きに変更したことで、BINOの初期調整用のシンプルなアジャスト機構（上下方向） も実現しました。（写真、3個目のアリガタ）
