Decisive Parting /

My parents and my family ate out tonight. The occasion was a farewell dinner for my daughter who will join the medical faculty at the University tomorrow.

It also means I will not have my daughter around to succeed me since she will probably become a Medical Doctor.

“Parting with good grace even in sorrow” has been my policy. Although I have made another decision to part with my Double Barrel Binoscope in my observatory dome on top of my shop, parting with my pride and joy instrument is sorrowful.

The home made dome was constructed 24 years ago and is in need of repairs of which I have no extra time to pursue. Moreover, I have no time to even open the dome because I have numerous back orders to fill for my amateur astronomer customers. So I have made a decision to hand it over to an amateur who I believe will take good care of it and will also appreciate it.

We are never free form parting. So, l will part with my beloved partner with good grace while she is still attractive.
