Here is the experiment of showing the difference of the reflectivities of Aluminum and Silver coatings.
Even the Aluminum sample of the larger mirrors quoted on the Maker’s website as enhanced Aluminum coated of 96% reflectivity, the difference between the Silver one is enormous.
説明不要と思いますが、最初の大きいミラーがアルミ、後者の小さい方が銀ミラーです。前者も、メーカーが96％の高反射率を誇示するアルミ増反射だそうですが、銀との差は劇的でした。試しに取り寄せてみたのですが、残念ながら、剥離後、銀で再蒸着しないといけません。
（今回に限らず、業者さんの数値表記は当てになりません。下請け、孫請けの言うことを鵜呑みにして、自らチェックできる技量がないのでしょう。）
