“The eyes are the windows of the mind.” is the famous old saying.
So, it is very difficult for you to doubt what you are seeing.
The merged image of the Binoscope will give you the upmost satisfaction and thrill.
But, are you really sure your eyes are perfectly parallel with each other?
Now, I will show you the cructial technic to check the parallelism of your visual axis.
It is quite easy.
Just go back from the eye-lenses so that the distance to your eyes about 30cm.
If your adjusting of your binoscope is perfect, you will see the merged Ramsden circles with the targets at the center.
But if you were seeing the binoscope with some congestion, you will lose one of the target from the Ramsden circle.

　大きい外円が視野円、小さい内円が射出瞳、水色の三角形がターゲットとお考えください。
上手の状態が完璧な光軸状態であることは、皆さん、よくご承知のことと思います。
このような完璧な光軸状態で、眼をアイポイントから30㎝くらい離すと、2つの射出瞳が融像して一つに見え、さらにその中心（あるいは相対位置）にターゲットが見えます。

　しかし、BINO初心者の大半は、上手のように、大なり小なりの輻輳をして見ています。
この例のように顕著だと、片方の射出瞳からターゲットが完全に消失しています。
　逆に言うと、最初から眼をアイポイントから30㎝くらい離してから、融像した射出瞳の相対位置にターゲットを置くように調整すれば、完璧な光軸調整が実行できる、ということです。

　フォーカシングが迷う人はほとんどいないと思います。
それはなぜか？
　それは、ピントのインとアウト、あるいはオーバーとアンダーが理解できているので、その中間に必ず存在するジャストピントに合わせられるのです。
　光軸調整もそれと同じで、天地、左右それぞれのオーバーとアンダーが明瞭に理解できていれば、全く怖い物はなく、それが曖昧である間は正確な調整は期待できません。
