The height of the extension ring under the Helicoid will effect as the 1/SQR2 of that of the lateral shift.

　ヘリコイド下に挿入する延長リングの高さは、その1/√2が横方向の見口シフトに寄与します。（つまり、7ｍｍの延長管は、約5mmのシフト量延長に相当するということ。）

The total light path in the EMS, at the D of 170mm and the IPD of 60mm, is 176mm. With the margin of 20mm, around 196mm should be secured as the back-focus.

D=170mmで、目幅＝60mmとすると、EMS内光路長＝176mmとなります。余裕を20mm見ると、合計196mmくらいのバックフォーカスは確保したいところ。
