Tatsuro Matsumoto; Inventor of the EMS, Erecting Mirror System. EMS offers non reversed upright image with no additional undesirable abberations.
One-touch attach and release Accessory Plate for the APM120SD-BINOCULAR completed.
“Dovetail and the Holder” is one of the excellent solutions, but there are
cases that other solution is more simple.
OMG! The arm mount would not be attached to the binocular!
But, I would never go panic in such a case.
加工手段がない方だと、パニックでしょうね。^^;
I milled the base arm as above photo shows.
I will optimize the spacing between the component housings for your wishing “D” of your plan with no additional charge.
In this case, the height of the spacing ring is 27mm+4mm for the D of 155mm at the IPD of 60mm.
EMS-UL SET with the IPD-Helicoid includes every function of the Binoscope in itself. Erecting image at the right-angle viewing, image shifting for the collimation as a Binoscope, and the IPD adjustment.
The hand-made level of my productivity is no my fault, but it is the result of the conservativeness of the optical industry and consumers who are mostly satisfied with the traditional products that offer the reversed images.
I have always been open to the big makers, but no big productive company of common ambition have appeared until now.
UV&IR cut filters-82mm have arrived at last waiting as long as 20-days.
Rough check by the eye-glass checker showed they are not mere glass plates at least. They look very good as the interference filters in appearance, too.
One is for Taiwan, the other for Switzerland.
The left one is IPD-Helicoid version, and the right one is the fixed tubed one used on the sliding mount.
I could watch the vivid solar prominence at the brief moment of the break of the cloudy sky through the APM120SD-BINOCULAR for the first time.
82mm UV-IR-CUT filters have not arrived yet, and 52mm filters were substituted.
Through the slightly cloudy and with the temporary small aperture, I could even see the vivid and thrilling prominence that appeared toward the north pole. I am so impatient to see it through the larger filter(82mm) next time.
Anyway, I could ensure that this total system offers fine H-alpha solar image, which I believe is a epoch-making result.
